Introducing The Prisoner Retro Style Action Figures Wave Number 2 on Kickstarter

Wandering Planet Toys is thrilled to announce the launch of their Kickstarter campaign for the second wave of officially licensed action figures based on the cult classic TV show The Prisoner. Spearheaded by Co-Founder Chris “Doc” Wyatt, this campaign aims to bring beloved characters from the iconic series to life in retro-style action figures.

Leo McKern, as Number 2, takes center stage in this new wave, fulfilling the earnest requests of fans. Alongside him is The Butler, portrayed by Angelo Muscat, adding depth to the collection of figures. But that’s not all—this wave introduces three additional Number 2 variants, promising to expand the intrigue and mystery of The Village.

The campaign offers multiple tiers, including:

  • NUMBER 6 – THE GENERAL: Featuring Number 6’s disguise from the Season One episode “The General.”
  • NUMBER 2 – CHECKMATE: Inspired by the sophisticated and cunning Number 2 from the memorable episode “Checkmate.”
  • NUMBER 2 – DANCE OF THE DEAD: A depiction of the conniving villainess from the episode of the same name, portrayed by Mary Morris.
  • NUMBER 6 – CHIMES OF BIG BEN: Featuring Number 6 in his iconic blue windbreaker from his journey back to London.
  • NUMBER 50 – THE WATCHMAKER’S DAUGHTER: Based on the character Number 50 from the episode “It’s Your Funeral.”
  • THE TAXI DRIVER – ARRIVAL: Depicting Number 16, the first person Number 6 encounters upon arriving in the Village.
  • NUMBER 6 – SECOND EDITION: A re-release of the best-selling figure from Wave 1, now with a unique cardback design.

Additionally, the campaign offers episode-specific 2-pack sets, bundles, and an exclusive “ALL IN” pledge option featuring a THE PRISONER Number 2 T-SHIRT.

“The second wave of THE PRISONER action figures has been developed and approved by our partners at ITV,” explained Wandering Planet co-founder Gavin Hignight. “With the figures sculpted and packaging designed, we’re ready to begin production as soon as the Kickstarter campaign concludes.”

Since its debut in 1967, The Prisoner has captivated audiences with its enigmatic storyline and iconic characters. Wandering Planet Toys’ commitment to authenticity and quality ensures that fans can now own officially licensed action figures inspired by this timeless series.
