My proposal is a type of cartoon that, obviously, makes reference to current topics and/or illustrates an article, but the cartoon would not represent well know people but anonymous characters, which everybody can identify with, in a situation related to a current topic. The anonymous person becomes a protagonist by inviting to reader to make a deep reflection avoiding an easy laugh.The cartoons would not have bubble speech but title, the key to understand the artwork. The style has its model in the cartoons from first half of XX century but with characters from nowadays.I would like to run away from the (now) typical vectorized and simple style and empower the handmade work.
